Well I haven't posted in a long time but thought I would make one today as I am quite excited to be writing again. Recently I decided to move to a totally different area of town and needed some help with that. Well I couldn't figure out which mover to pick, but finally settled on a guy by the Name of David.

David was a very honest and straightforward man and I was happy to deal with someone so professional. He gave us a fair and honest quote. Anyways, Vancouver Movers so I suggest you give them a try.

Holiday and Vacation Homes - From here to eternity

Dear Reader.

I haven't posted in a while and I am pretty find with that; and I hope you are too. And I can tell that you really haven't been paying attention too closely because, well because I just know these things.

The fact of the matter I've been spending my time searching the internet for a retirement property. An old chap like this can't work forever and lately as my bones start to slow down (I feel like I am rambling into eternity) I just can't stand the snow and rain of the great wide north anymore and so I think it's time for a little break. Sure it's okay to take an excursion to other places sometimes but this old man can't travel on airplanes forever. Which is why I have decided to buy a vacation home.

I have been thinking of other locations of course. Perhaps the interior of BC, perhaps Europe I am not really sure at this point but once I figure it out Dear Reader, I will be sure to inform you of the decision. But don't worry, with the power of the internet at my fingertips you will be able to keep reading what I write as I ramble into Eternity My Dear Friend. Eternity! I think that is a wonderful way to think of death. And well I wait for it my friend I will be perhaps waiting in one of the best of all possible places. On a hot beach by a rented or bought home and why not.

So down to the nitty gritty as they say. When searching the web you can find alot of listings all over the place. Deciding on what constitutes a trustworthy and efficient to surf website is something that can keep you up all night. But no longer my friend, no longer, for I have found perhaps the best vacation property listing site on the entire internet. The best thing about this site is it's super cheap too! In fact it cost so little to list your property that I am astonished at the fact that it is not so fill of houses as to be overflowing.

Yes my dear friend the best place you can possibly find a vacation property in the whole entire world is Holiday Homes.

This website is incredibly well done with easy to use controls and widgets it makes finding your little slice of paradise just a little bit easier. The fact that it lists all the valuable information such as weather and other such things is just a huge gigantic bonus. So I hope you enjoy this site as it was a dear friend of mine who sent me the link.

Cheers!

Wow, Scandalous!

Looks like the Governor is in big trouble with this scandal. But here is a weird little article on the escort he hired. I don't know what to think of a women like that.

I wonder if her music will become famous now that probably everyone in the world that reads CNN will login into Myspace and check out her profile.

It's possible, don't you think?

Border Shopping

Often I like to get in my old Ford Mustang and zoom down to the US border for a shopping trip. There's nothing like taking my special lady on a shopping adventure.

Well before we left this afternoon I thought I would do some research. Here is what I found:

The Canada–United States border is the international border between Canada and the United States. Officially known as the International Boundary, it is the longest common border in the world, and is unmilitarized. The terrestrial boundary (including small portions of maritime boundaries on the Atlantic, Pacific, and Arctic coasts as well as the Great Lakes) is 8,891 kilometres (5,522 mi) long, including 2,477 kilometres (1,539 mi) shared with Alaska.

Amazing isn't it, who would have thought that we live by the longest border in the world.

Because of the difference in currencies between Canada and the US - it's a great place to shop especially for Canadians as the Canadian dollar is so high right now - but I will tell you this right now, you might want to look up the border times before you go - because with the new crossing regulations it can be a pain in the you know what, and you might be waiting hours - behind other cars and trucks that want to get in.

Luckily I found a site that shows up to the minute border wait times. And if you have to sit and wait you might want to take this really funny video that I found on YouTube.
